ADL Report - Audit of U.S. Antisemitic Incidents 2025

(May 6, 2026)

ADL’s 2025 Audit found that anti-Semitic incidents in the United States declined from the record highs of 2024 but remained at historically elevated levels, with 6,274 incidents recorded nationwide. The report highlighted a troubling rise in physical assaults, including deadly attacks, even as harassment, vandalism, campus incidents, bomb threats, and white supremacist propaganda declined from the previous year.

The following is an executive summary of the report. For the full report, click here.

  • ADL recorded 6,274 anti-Semitic incidents in the U.S. in 2025, a 33% decrease from 2024 but still the third-highest total since tracking began in 1979.
  • The total included 4,003 harassment incidents, 2,068 vandalism incidents, and 203 assaults.
  • Physical assaults reached a record high, with three people killed in anti-Semitic attacks.
  • Campus incidents dropped 66%, from 1,694 in 2024 to 583 in 2025, largely due to the decline of anti-Israel encampments.
  • Incidents at Jewish institutions fell 34%, while bomb threats dropped sharply from 627 in 2024 to 59 in 2025.
  • Israel- or Zionism-related incidents accounted for 2,847 incidents, or 45% of the total, still far above pre-Oct. 7 levels.
  • White supremacist anti-Semitic propaganda and events declined 51%, though groups such as Patriot Front, Goyim Defense League, and White Lives Matter remained active.
  • The states with the most incidents were New York, California, and New Jersey.
  • ADL called for stronger federal and state security grants, safe access protections for houses of worship, and improved institutional responses in higher education and K-12 schools.
