On January 19, 2026, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu signed the Charter of the Board of Peace on behalf of the State of Israel and formally confirmed that the signature was definitive, not subject to ratification, acceptance, or further approval, thereby constituting Israel’s full and binding consent to be bound by the Charter. Notably, although the document was signed on January 19, it was delivered several weeks later, on February 11, as part of Netanyahu’s visit to Washington, D.C., where it was transmitted during his meetings with President Trump, Secretary Rubio, and other U.S. officials.

Dear Mr. Secretary,
I have the honor to refer to the Charter of the Board of Peace, which I signed today, on January 19, 2026, on behalf of the State of Israel.
By this communication, I confirm that the said signature is definitive. That is, the signature is not subject to ratification, acceptance or approval, and therefore constitutes the consent of the State of Israel to be bound by the Charter.
Sincerely,
Benjamin Netanyahu
