Labor, pursuant to Paragraph 22 To: Ministry of Transport and Public Works For the purpose of transferring Jews inducted for labor under Paragraph 22 of Law 198/1941 of the Slovakian constitution, and for their evacuation outside the state borders of the Slovakian Republic, Department 14 of the Ministry of Interior Head Office has set forth the following program of transfers: Jews inducted for labor under the aforementioned statute shall be gathered from all parts of the state to the following assembly points: (1) Bratislava-Patronka, Lemec railroad station, with the capacity of
1,000 persons; Jews gathered at the aforementioned assembly points will be transferred in accordance with the procedures concluded with the Ministry of Transport and Public Works, Railroads Division, to the Generalgouvernement, in designated units of passenger rolling stock, according to the following plan: On March 25, 1942, transport 1, unit I, sets out from Poprad to Auschwitz;
Part A The Ministry of the Interior reserves the right to make possible changes, of which it will give the Ministry of Transport and Public Works (Railroads Division) advance notice by telephone, before the unit returns from the Reich sovereign area to the confines of the Slovakian state. The railroad units shall be made available to the Ministry of the Interior for transport purposes until the stipulated number of people are moved, as you were advised (orally) in consultations at the Ministry of the Interior.
