Inna Yoffe

Inna Yoffe was born on February 8, 1988, in Russia.
In 2003 Yoffe competed with her partner Anastasia
Gloushkov in the synchronized swimming World Championship where
they placed 15th in the duet event. That same year they also ranked
sixth in the World Youth Championship. Inna was part of the Israeli
team that placed a record ninth, with a 87.0 team score, in the European
Championship held in Madrid 2004. As a duet, Yoffe and Gloushkov ranked
10th overall.
Inna and Anastasia Gloushkov competed in the duet technical
routine on August 23, in the 2004 Olympic Games. They received a respectable
85.500 score which left them 6.667 points behind first place. The duo
finished 16th overall in the technical routine stage. In the preliminary
stage held the following day, Yoffe and Gloushkov scored 86.0 and thus
finished in 17th and did not reach the final.
Inna was the youngest member of the Israeli Olympic
team. Israel is attempting to build a serious synchronized swimming
tradition and Yoffe is considered a potential future medalist. Athens
was a chance for the swimmer to gain some experience in anticipation
of her more serious drive in 2008.
She swims for the Maccabi Kiryat-Yovel club of Jerusalem.
