Theodore Albert Peyser
(1873 - 1937)
PEYSER, Theodore Albert, a Representative from New
York; born in Charleston, W.Va., February 18, 1873; attended the public
schools; engaged in various occupations until 1893, when he moved to
Cincinnati, Ohio, and became employed as a traveling salesman, in which
capacity he served until 1900; moved to New York City in 1900 and engaged
in the life insurance business; elected as a Democrat to the Seventy-third,
Seventy-fourth, and Seventy-fifth Congresses and served from March 4,
1933, until his death in New York City August 8, 1937; interment in
United Cemetery, Cincinnati, Ohio.
