Maps of Jerusalem: Corpus Separatum Map

(1947)

The Corpus Separatum refers to the fate of Jerusalem under the Partition Plan; the city was to be placed under an international regime due to it's special religious significance.  Following the failure of the Partition Plan and the multiple Israeli-Arab conflicts that followed, the Corpus Separatum never took effect.
