Gaza Disengagement Plan: Decree Prohibiting Relocation to Settlements Scheduled for Evacuation in Disengagement

The Head of the Southern Command, Lt. Gen. Dan Harel, signed a decree yesterday, March 17, 2005, prohibiting the relocation of Israeli citizens into the Gaza Strip.

The decree was signed in accordance to the decision made by the political echelon and as part of the preparations to implement the government decision to carry out the disengagement plan.

According to the Head of the Southern Command decree, effective immediately, Israeli citizens are prohibited from relocating their residence into the Gaza Strip.

Relocation of residence into four West Bank communities prohibited

In accordance with the decision made by the political echelon and as part of the preparations to implement the government decision to carry out the disengagement plan. The Head of the Central Command, Maj. Gen. Yair Naveh, signed a decree today, March 20, 2005, prohibiting the relocation of Israeli citizens into the four West Bank communities of Sanur, Homesh, Ganim and Kadim.

According to the Head of the Central Command's decree, effective immediately, Israeli citizens are prohibited from relocating their residence into the aforementioned communities.
