Holocaust Photographs: Ebensee After Liberation

(1945)

The following photographs were taken by Paul Lipman and his comrades. Lipman served in the U.S. Army from January 1943 to December 1945. He fought in France, Germany, and Austria. In Austria, he was involved in the liberation of Ebensee. He received a bronze star for heroism. We are grateful to his nephew Barry Lippa for sharing these important historical images.
