Mira Fuchrer was a Ha'Shomer
Ha'Tza'ir activist and Mordechai
Anielewicz's girlfriend. In her letters
to a friend who remained in Vilna,
she often mentioned her great love for
Mordechai. She fought alongside him during
the uprising and died with him in the headquarters bunker
at Mila 18, on May 8, 1943.
She was 23 years old when she died.
